Hello everyone!

I'm pretty bad about blogging. But it's my second one - quite an achievement!

Well, some news from Japan. Last Saturday, that is a week ago, we had a Field Day at the nursery. Well, it actually took place in a local park, very nice place. We have been looking forward to it and preparing for about a month. I believe the kids and their parents had a great time. I just hope the parents will see how much we care about their children, pray for them, how much we love each one of them.

My Giraffes danced to the song "It's a Small World", they also learnt the lyrics. They were so cute, i ll post the pictures later.

Interesting that in Japan they pay much attention to the beginning and the end of any event. So they have special word and activity for both. It is pretty much like a ceremony of opening and ending, and even our Field Day had to include these parts. The Girrafe (the oldest kids) boys opened the event and the Giraffe girls closed it.

At the beginning we also sang the nursery song: "Children Row Your Boat Ashore" (we sing children instead of Michael ).

It is a blessing to be with these children and also being able to communicate with their parents. I thank God for all the kids that come to the nursery. I am especially happy if their parents speak English - that means I can talk to them!!! And it is so exciting when someone can understand you! I especially pray for the parents of two kids. They have been to the US and speak very good English. I have the desire to invite them to church. So i pray for the opportunity before i go back to Russia. Please, pray along with me!
